What is Wizpex and how does it work?

Wizpex is a marketplace that connects customers with Experts — independent professionals offering services across the Czech Republic.

Browse services by category or region. When you find one you want, open Make a request on the service page: choose Request a time to propose a day, or Ask a question if you want to check the details first. The Expert replies, and your conversation continues in Messages. A time is reserved only once the Expert confirms it.

Wizpex does not take a commission and is not part of the payment — you agree the price with the Expert and pay them directly.

Is Wizpex free?

Yes. Creating an account, browsing services and sending requests to Experts is free for customers, and publishing services is free for Experts. Wizpex does not take a commission on any job — the price is agreed directly between the customer and the Expert. The full terms are in our Terms and Conditions.

How do I pay for a service?

You pay the Expert directly, on whatever terms the two of you agreed in Messages. Payments do not go through Wizpex — the platform is not part of the transaction, so we cannot process, hold or refund payments. Agree the amount and the method before the work starts. See how Wizpex works.

Can I have a customer account and an Expert account at the same time?

Yes. One account covers both roles. You add an Expert profile to your existing account and can switch between the two at any time from your account overview.

Can I use Wizpex to find work or hire people?

Yes. Alongside one-off services, Wizpex works as a place where individual entrepreneurs can connect with potential employers or find teams to collaborate with. Browse the list of Experts to see who is active in your area.

Who can publish articles on the Wizpex blog?

Do you have experience, knowledge or an interesting topic from your field that you would like to share? Send us your proposal through Contribute to our blog. After we have reviewed it, we will get in touch with you about publishing it on Wizpex.

Which services are not allowed on Wizpex?

The full list is in section 9, “Prohibited Services and Content”, of our Terms and Conditions. There is also a summary on our Prohibited Services page.

How do I contact Wizpex?

Through our Contact us page, where you will find our phone number, email address and a contact form.

For customers

How do I create a customer account?

Select “Login / Register” in the top right corner and choose “Create an Account”. The customer account type is selected by default. Enter your email address, choose a password and complete the registration. How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

How do I edit my account details?

Go to Account settings in your profile. There you can change your first and last name, your email address or your password. Save your changes when you are done.

How do I save a service, and where do I find it?

On the service page, click “Add to Saved services”. Saved services appear under “Saved services” in your profile.

How do I know an Expert is trustworthy?

Every Expert verifies their phone number by SMS before any of their services can be published, and a badge appears on their profile. This confirms that they have access to that phone number. It does not verify their identity, their qualifications, or the quality of their work.

Before choosing an Expert, we recommend reading their profile, the details of the services they offer, and reviews from previous customers. Experts list

How do I communicate with an Expert?

Contact starts from the service page. Open Make a request and choose Ask a question to check details, or Request a time if you already want to book. Every conversation begins with a request about a specific service — you do not message Experts separately.

Once the Expert replies, the conversation continues in Messages in your account, and you can follow the request itself under My requests.

How do I book a service?

On the service page, open Make a request. Choose Request a time to select a day or an available slot, or Ask a question if you want to settle details first. The request appears under My requests with its conversation.

The Expert can accept the requested time, propose another time or decline. You can accept, decline or suggest a different time in reply. Nothing is booked until both sides agree.

How do I arrange a meeting with an Expert?

The simplest route is the Make a request tab on the service page: request a time, then the Expert can confirm it, propose another time or decline. Settle the remaining details in the request’s conversation.

Reach out to the Expert you want to work with and briefly describe your requirements or the problem you are facing. Ask about the cost of the service early.

When arranging a time, suggest several slots that work for you, and let the Expert know as far in advance as you can if you need to cancel. Agree a location, exchange phone numbers, confirm the address and pass on any directions that would help. Open your messages.

How do I agree and pay for a job?

Agree the payment method in advance, and ask the Expert for a receipt. For larger jobs, consider splitting the payment into two parts — before and after completion — and ask for a written contract so both sides are clear.

If you plan to pay cash on completion, have small denominations ready, as the Expert may not have change, and keep a little extra available in case you ask for additional work on the day. Payments are strictly between you and the Expert; Wizpex is not part of the transaction. See our Terms and Conditions.

How should I prepare my home for a visit?

Ask the Expert whether the space needs preparing in any particular way — rugs moved, a vacuum ready, a clear work area, decent lighting.

If you have children or pets at home, say so in advance: for some kinds of work their presence is not ideal, and it is far better discussed beforehand than on the day. See how a job works end to end.

How do I stay safe when an Expert visits?

You may ask the Expert to send you a copy of their identification documents before the visit. It is also sensible to tell a friend or family member the time and details of the visit.

Every Expert on Wizpex has a verified phone number, and you can read their reviews in the Experts list before you book.

What should I do during the visit?

Ask questions if anything is unclear or concerning — a good Expert will explain the issue and will not be irritated by them. Take photos of the work as it is finished. If you need to raise something with us afterwards, our contact page is the place to start.

What should I do after the service is finished?

Tell the Expert your impressions. Do not be afraid to express dissatisfaction — a good Expert can handle constructive criticism.

Then leave a review on their profile, positive or negative; it is what helps the next customer choose. Find the Expert again in the Experts list.

How do I permanently delete my account?

Go to “Account overview” in your profile and open “Account termination”. Click the delete button and follow the instructions. You can also ask Wizpex support to delete your account manually through our contact page.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — your data and history cannot be recovered.

For Experts

How do I create an Expert account?

Select “Login / Register”, choose “Create an Account” and select “I am an Expert”. Provide your email, password, first and last name, and phone number. If you already have a customer account, use “Become an Expert” in your profile overview instead.

Do I have to verify my phone number?

Yes. Phone verification by SMS is required before any of your services can be published. It is the only verification method — Wizpex does not ask for identity documents.

Verification confirms that you are contactable at the number you gave; it does not verify your skills or qualifications. See our Terms and Conditions.

How do I set up my Expert profile?

Go to My Expert Profile in your dashboard menu. There you set your profile picture, Expert name, address, phone number and working hours.

My Expert Page is the page customers see; My Expert Profile is where you edit it.

Does it cost anything to publish services?

No. Publishing services on Wizpex is free, and Wizpex does not take a commission on the work you win. Customers pay you directly, on the terms the two of you agree in Messages. The full terms are in our Terms and Conditions.

What are the rules for service listings?

Listings must not contain phone numbers, emails or other direct contact details — all contact goes through the platform’s messaging. Images and descriptions must accurately represent the service, be high resolution and free of watermarks or branding. The full rules are in section 8 of our Terms and Conditions.

How do I create a new service?

Go to your dashboard, open the My Services tab and click Add new service. Fill in the title, starting price, category, service location, languages, place of provision and descriptions, then click “Save Service”. Your service is reviewed by Wizpex administration before it goes live.

How many services can I publish?

Up to three active service listings at any one time. If you want to advertise something new once you have reached the limit, edit or remove one of your existing listings from your dashboard. The limit is set out in section 8 of the Terms and Conditions.

How long does approval take?

Listings are reviewed in the order received. Processing ranges from minutes to several days depending on workload. You can check the status of each listing in your dashboard.

How do I edit or delete a service?

In My Services, use Edit to change a service, or Quick Edit for small changes. Edited services return for approval before becoming visible again.

Make a copy duplicates a service. Delete Permanently removes it for good — this cannot be undone.

How do I arrange a meeting with a customer?

New requests appear under Bookings in your dashboard. You can accept the requested time, propose another time or decline, and use the request’s conversation to settle the details before you commit.

Agree the scope and the price in Messages before you commit to a time, then offer the customer several slots you can make. Confirm the address, exchange phone numbers and ask about anything that affects the job — parking, access, pets, children, whether the space needs clearing.

Let the customer know as early as you can if you have to move or cancel. Open your messages.

How should I prepare for a meeting with a customer?

Bring spare shoes and clothing if the job calls for it, and always ask permission before entering a room in outdoor shoes. Check that you have all the tools and extra materials you need — protective covers for furniture, cleaning supplies and so on.

If you know the job will take a long time, bring water and a snack. Bring any documentation you provide: receipts, contracts and warranty forms. Review the job details in your messages before you set off.

How should I communicate during the job?

Offering even a small guarantee and a formal contract can make a real difference to the relationship. If you need extra time or parts you do not have with you, explain the situation clearly, including how long it will take and whether it will cost more. If you make a mistake, say so and propose a solution. Ask questions whenever you are uncertain.

Leave the workspace clean — cover furniture with disposable protective sheets and keep the area tidy. Most customers will happily pay more when they are confident their property will be left undamaged. Take photos of the finished work. Our contact page is there if you need us.

What should I do after the job is finished?

Ask the customer for feedback and approach any criticism with understanding. Treat requests with respect. Follow up a while later — an attentive Expert is one customers remember and recommend. Your reviews build up on your profile in the Experts list.

What if I get an unfair review?

Leave a note in the review section or contact Wizpex administrators through our contact form. We will look into it and either remove the review or ask the author to amend it.
